The Well Read Bible Project
Formerly Margins Ministries
Living the Gospel Deeply, One Season at a Time
The Well Read Bible Project is an invitation to slow down and walk through Scripture with presence. Each season of the year carries a rhythm that mirrors the gospel story—formation, redemption, kingdom, and renewal. Together, these rhythms guide us through twelve anchor books of the Bible that help us see God rightly and live from His truth.

This is not a race to read the whole Bible in a year. It is a call to live what we read. Each seasonal volume invites you to dwell in a few key books—reading deeply, marking meaningfully with The Margins Method™, and letting truth shape both thought and practice.

Every page, prayer, and margin is an act of becoming well read—not just in Scripture, but in the ways of Jesus Himself.

Well-Read Bible Project
Winter Edition | Formation
The Winter Edition of the Well Read Bible Project begins January 1. To support your journey, we offer everything you need at no cost: a private Facebook group, the full reading workbook, weekly Spotify playlists, and a companion podcast for each session. If you prefer a physical copy, the printed book is also available through Amazon for a small price. This season is designed to help you slow down, stay rooted in Scripture, and walk with God in a steady, life-giving rhythm.
A Simple Way to Study Scripture
The Margins Method
The Margins Method is a simple way of engaging Scripture that slows you down enough to notice what God is actually saying. Instead of rushing through chapters, you mark the text with five small symbols that help you watch for God’s character, listen for the Spirit’s prompting, trace repeated words, identify promises to carry, and flag places for deeper study. It’s gentle enough for the neurodivergent mind, rooted in historic Christian reflection, and focused on relationship rather than performance. The goal is not prettier Bible pages but a more attentive heart that meets God in the margin moments of his Word.

Our Mission
Our mission is to help trauma weary and overwhelmed women embrace God’s Word as the place where they can breathe again. We guide them into Scripture with rhythms that honor the nervous system and create space for the Spirit to lead. We support neurodivergent minds with tools that offer gentleness, clarity, and a sense of belonging. And we equip the Church to understand trauma and neurodivergence as part of the varied beauty within the Body of Christ. Our aim is simple. Create pathways of understanding so every woman knows she can open her Bible, meet the living God, and find herself seen, valued, and welcomed by him.
Our Biblical Foundation
“Speak Lord, for your servant is listening.” 1 Samuel 3:10

Every person is made in the image of God and invited to hear His voice, even in seasons marked by trauma, overwhelm, or nervous system exhaustion. This ministry was born from the conviction that the Church must become a gentler and more aware place for the wounded, the weary, and the differently wired. Where others may see struggle or disruption, God sees design, purpose, and beloved daughters who are learning to listen again.

Our ministry stands on these truths:
Imago Dei Every person carries the image of God, regardless of trauma, ability, or wiring.
Unity in Diversity The body of Christ flourishes when every part is honored and every story is welcomed.
Healing and Wholeness Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and restore those the world has called less than. His compassion reaches the overwhelmed, the traumatized, and those who feel unseen.
Equipping the Saints We exist to offer tools, teachings, and compassionate understanding so that women healing from trauma, along with neurodivergent believers and those who love them, can grow, rest, and thrive in faith.
I've actually enjoyed using this method. I tried different inductive methods of study, and honestly they made me dread my bible study time as it was overwhelming to me. The Margins Method gives me a simpler but deep study and it's not overwhelming. Thank you Jane!
